Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Seoul:Samsung Thunders (#8) and Knights (#7). Samsung Thunders (4-5) won against visiting Knights (3-6) 83-74 . Seoul Knights were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Turkish power forward Kerem Kanter (208-1995, college: Xavier) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Samsung Thunders' coach Hee-Seok Eun-Hoo allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) added 18 points in the effort for Seoul Knights. Four Seoul Thunders and five Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. Seoul Thunders moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus. Seoul Knights at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost.
